Ivan Kovalenko

Professional experience

Ivan has a longstanding experience in the fields of finance, audit, and accounting, including in a capacity of a financial director, chief accountant and a head of the internal audit department. He has a work experience in one of the Big 4 Companies.

Professional interests are concentrated in the area of providing services to large Belarusian companies (both state owned and private). Ivan successfully delivered a number of advisory/consulting projects in the areas of IFRS adoption (including – automating IFRS), business valuation, optimization of corporate structure, etc.

Education and Qualification

• Belarusian State Economic University, major in accounting (2004)
• A fellow member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, UK (FCCA) since 2009
• Belarusian statutory audit qualification certificate (since 2013)
• Belarusian National Bank certificate of compliance with qualification requirements for audit professionals working in banks and other non-bank financial institutions (since 2013).
