Discussion of the draft Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus “On amendments to the Directive of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated December 31, 2010 No. 4 “On the development of entrepreneurial initiative and stimulation of business activity in the Republic of Belarus”

A draft Decree of the President “On amendments of the Directive of the President of the Republic of Belarus” has been submitted for public discussion at the Legal Forum of Belarus which provides for updating the provisions of Directive No. 4 dated December 31, 2010 “On the development of entrepreneurial initiative and stimulation of business activity in the Republic of Belarus.”  The discussion of the document will last until June 21, 2025 (inclusive) which allows interested parties to make their comments and suggestions.

The key changes are the following:

– expanding the rights of legal and tax consultants;

– regulatory authorities will be required to publicly post information about the identified violations.;

– in accordance with the draft, it is planned to establish at the legislative level the signs of substitution of employment contracts by civil law contracts;

– it is planned to consolidate the concept of “family entrepreneurship” with simplified procedures for management and assignment of responsibilities and other changes.
