Legislation news: on the amendment of the law on taxation

On May 15, 2025, the Law dated May 8, 2025 No. 72-Z “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Belarus “On Amendments to Laws on Taxation” was published on the National legal Internet portal of the Republic of Belarus.

A citizen whose total amount of income and (or) gross revenue from operating as an individual entrepreneur has exceeded 500,000 Belarusian rubles in a cumulative manner during a calendar year is not entitled to operate as an individual entrepreneur for three calendar years starting on January 1 of the year following the calendar year in which such excess occurred.

Please note that the amendment applies to relationships that have arisen since January 1, 2025.
