Starting from July 1, 2025, an organization of any form of ownership must use the form of a property write-off act.

In connection with the amendments to Resolution No. 74 of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus dated December 13, 2019 “On establishing the form of an act on writing off property and accounting for the residual (liquidation) value of property owned by the Republic of Belarus” (hereinafter – Resolution No. 74), reference to property owned by the Republic of Belarus was excluded from it (paragraph 1 of the Resolution of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus No. 29 dated 30.04.2025 “On Amendment of Resolution No. 74 of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus dated December 13, 2019”).

It follows from it that this Resolution will apply to property of other forms of ownership too.

From 01.07.2025, Resolution No. 74 and the form of an act approved by it apply to the write-off of property, plant and equipment (PPE) and objects under construction of any form of ownership. Accordingly, starting from the above mentioned date, it is no longer possible to use independently developed forms of write-off acts when writing off property.
