Voluntary audit
Accounting (financial) statements of not all organizations in the Republic of Belarus are subject to the mandatory audit, however, in cases where the management or founders of companies the accounting (financial) statements of which are not required to be audited by the applicable law, and they wish to receive an independent diagnostics of the financial condition of the managed organization, information on the quality of preparation of accounting (financial) statements, a brief review of the effectiveness of the company’s internal control system, a voluntary audit is held.
Conducting a voluntary audit is an additional tool for companies seeking to improve the quality of their accounting (financial) statements and strengthen the trust of partners and investors. A voluntary audit is performed on the initiative of the organization itself and is aimed at an objective assessment of financial processes and statements.
